Sale and Rental Process

When homes are available for sale or rent, they are first offered to current residents or owners. Then they are usually publicized to our email notification list and posted on our website. Prospective buyers or renters contact the homeowners or their agents directly to view the unit and arrange to make an offer or apply to rent.

Note to realtors:

CEV is a self-managed community that offers many amenities as well as significant responsibilities for each household. Being a part of cohousing means recognizing the time, attention, and flexibility needed to enjoy the benefits and fulfill the obligations of community life. Refer your prospect to columbiaecovillage.org for more information about how we self-manage. Coordinate your showing with a member of our Outreach pod who can give your prospects a tour of the common spaces and explain cohousing and our community.
